Fascinating location and building. Wonderful staff. Some building work still progressing. Food excellent. Lithuanian family who own and run it, are excellent. Husband is the first rate chef. Go and visit !

Great character building with a good swimming pool area and courtyard to eat outside. Staff were very pleasant and accommodating. We cycled around the area which was very scenic. There is a lake not far away with a good cafe doing tasty lunches.

This was a return visit after several years and the improvements made over time have resulted in a splendid hotel with a first class restaurant. The bedroom was amazing - spacious, comfortable and well appointed as was the en suite with its two hand basins and multi-function spray shower. The historic building with inner galleried courtyard is something straight out of 'The Three Musketeers' and altogether unique. An outdoor swimming pool and ample safe parking are additional bonuses. Dinner of Limousin beef and local cheeses was superb.

Comfortable and interesting hotel in rural France, convenient for stop on travel through France. A very good restaurant with good value menu and well prepared interesting food. Good breakfast. Hotel is dog friendly and there were 3 dogs in restaurant when we had dinner. Pool area is impressive but unfortunately already closed by time of our visit.

The property and facilities were excellent. Beautifully renovated. Everyone very friendly in a relaxing atmosphere. Restaurant food is always excellent with friendly and attentive staff.
