The staff is very courteous and helpful.Sara’s at reception fulfilled our request for a room with good view.Room service Housekeeping gave us very prompt response.Location Lawns Swimming pool were all superb.Shopping at Shanti was very good.We will be glad to recommend Taj Ganges to everyone

this is an excellent hotel to stay when in varanasi. The hotel is very busy but the staff are very friendly and go over and above to make your stay memorable and comfortable. The on site restaurant serves excellent food - we really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend this hotel. i would like to thank Riki, owais,nishant and asif for their care and attention to us and also all the staff in the restaurant who were so friendly and caring.

The Taj in Varanasi is like a oasis in a chaotic city. It’s expansive and just the comfort you need once you are back visiting the old town. The staff hospitality, the acres of greenery are standout.

Every member of the staff was very warm and hospitable. It was the hospitality which made stay super special. Would definitely stay here again. Special mention of Asif, Amar and Ajit(unsure of the name but he was responsible for maintaining our room on the 4th floor)

All the usual standards you can expect from Taj resorts, good service, food, cleanliness, on-site activities, personal touches e.g. handmade welcome garland handmade and flute gifted in room on arrival.

Very comfortable room and the hotel was very clean. Thank you to Tanu, Muskan and Ashish for their excellent attention and service. Many thanks again to Tanu for sending a birthday cake to my friend - we were delightfully surprised by her thoughtfulness. The breakfast buffet was very good and catered to variety of palates. The entire hotel team was professional, welcoming, friendly and eager to make our stay enjoyable. They are great representatives of the Taj brand. The hotel is a well kept oasis of calm especially after a busy day of sightseeing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you very much, Taj Ganges!

We stayed in taj Ganges but the other property taj palace was much better, they allowed us to visit the palace property.

Service was not prompt. The butter had gone bad. Quality of papaya was not very good . Coffee was also sub- standard . With the addition of very little milk it became milky which means the coffee was not strong enough.
