Really friendly owner which adds to the overall vibe of the place and the location is perfect for going around places!(also they have new bedsheets that smell good which is something important for a cross country backpacker like me)

The breakfast was super nice, we got nice fruits and omelette. We really loved the dog Goofy. And the people working there were super friendly and helped us around. I felt really at home. The location is also great.

I followed a fellow traveler's advice and booked Ganga Guest House, and it was a fantastic decision. Raj and Tej were exceptional hosts. Raj's local insights were invaluable, especially during our early morning walk along the ghats. Tej was a pleasure to chat with, and his friendly demeanor made me feel right at home. Their genuine care for guests is evident, making my stay in Varanasi truly memorable. Highly recommend!

I stayed in the guest house for a longer time and absolutely enjoyed it! Its just a minute to the ghats, and super close to the daily Aarti ceremony! The guest house really became a new home for me, which I don´t even want to leave anymore. The lovely team contributed to this great experience! Make the Ganga Guest House your choice while staying in Varanasi and you will not miss out on anything!

This place was fantastic, what can I even say?! Raj and the whole group of family and friends working there were just superb, so friendly and welcoming. Rufi the black lab was also a delightful surprise! I was taken ill on my second day and I honestly cannot thank Raj and the group enough for helping me, for bringing me fruits and electrolytes, allowing me to use AC, and just for looking out for me in general which, when you are away from home alone and ill, is a HUGE comfort. The guesthouse is in a fantastic location, situated in the intricate streets of the Old City, very close to the Ghats and to some excellent cafes. Breakfast with Raj was brilliant, and thank-you for the interesting chats about Varanasi! 10/10 recommend, and if I come back to Varanasi, I hope I will be able to stay here again.
