Lovely place and hosts. Alex and Daisy were very kind and helpful. We enjoyed chatting with them. Daisy arranged our hot air balloon tour with Above Laos (brilliant, so it!) and our scooter. All great. Room was fine. A little warm as facing west, but we had a cracking sunset view! Nice little breakfast/hanging area. Breakfast was good (freshly cooked stuff is largely egg based, but plenty of options). Liked the part of town - felt quite chilled and a bit more local vibes compared to to the centre. More generally, VV was great. Despite its party town history (and no doubt current party options) we went for the nature and were blown away. Great to explore on the scooter (get to lagoon 4 early, which is lovely, and check out the surrounding villages). The balloon ride is totally worth it. Could have stayed longer at Camelia and VV generally.

Really lovely staff who made us feel very welcomed. The hotel is in town so near the minivan stop so you can walk if you arrive via minivan. The room is a really big size and we had the view for sunset which was absolutely gorgeous.

Absolutely recommended place in Vang Vieng! It was quiet and comfortable, with a great breakfast option. The view from the 2nd level rooms is amazing. It was perfectly clean and the host was really nice and helpful.

The rooms are clean and spacious, with big bathrooms. Some have views of the karst mountains. The air con is good, and well-positioned (i.e. you don't have icy air blasting your bed). When I slept badly in the double room (01) the woman who gave me a new room was kind and understanding about it. When they cleaned rooms between guests, they aired them properly with open windows and doors; I thought this was a good practice. I also saw them airing linens and blankets. The location is great for everything: cafes, restaurants, tubing, activities and tours. The breakfast was fine, nothing particularly special.

everything ! the owners are so helpful and very friendly. great location close to everything .as I am solo traveller as introvert . this hotel is safe and quiet enough for me . room and ac are good . nothing I don’t like about this place . definitely coming back .

Camellia is the best budget hotel I have ever stayed so far in Laos The room with good view, the staff was nice and kind, the breakfast was also good, the tour and transfer were cheaper than others. Very professional management made everything become easy and useful, felt rather comfortable there Nothing to complain about
