Destination served it's purpose, a one night stop over as part of our Road trip. The Youngman in Reception was very polite and helpful, he allowed us to use the main telephone to book our next destination accommodation. Room was adequate, clean and quiet. Visited the historic downtown district, this reminded us of how an old mid western town used to be, very quaint. If we had stayed longer I'm sure we would have discovered more about the significance in the history of Vandalia City.

The breakfast was ok. The hotel was full so breakfast was a little crowded. Staff was stretched keeping everything stocked. A little more variety would have been nice.
