As a solo female traveller, I had a comfortable stay in a private room - comfortable bed, nice bathroom and hotel was in a good location- everything in walking distance. Staff were very helpful with bag storage and checking in. I actually stayed here twice during my trip, so would recommend!

Fantastic location, downtown Vancouver, near some major attractions, easy to walk from the Sky Train. Very neat and clean, good security for access to the building, and for controlling access to shared bathrooms. Good amenities - nice little coffee machine in the lobby, kitchens on multiple floors (although we didn't cook here), and great to still have a sink in your room so you can wash hands/face/brush teeth without needing to use the shared bathroom. Staff were great, very helpful and friendly. Can't beat the value for money, especially for downtown Vancouver! Also really like that by staying at the YWCA we're contributing to community causes.

It is a hidden gem in a big city like Vancouver. The price, the location, the values like it is a non-profit hotel, little details like best free coffee/tea in the morning, sweet little gift after tagging them on social media and ease of payment will blow your mind. You can literally travel anywhere in the city from the spot using the most effective public transport methods. The room sizes, the views everything was amazing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND it to ANYONE literally. May it be hostel seeking younger lot, families, or older age groups. I wish this was available everywhere around Canada.

It was on a lower floor. Since the room was dark and we had a full view of the language class in the building in front of us, we asked them to change the room to a higher floor. They gladly complied.

I enjoyed the location, the staff, the price. It's a great place to stay. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I was nearby everything that I needed. I stayed for two nights and will definitely stay lhere again

Very good location, staff is really nice and you’ve got this kind of program using the money earned by the hotel for some charities, it gives a real good purpose to our trip !

I love that this hotel is non-profit. It's in an amazing location, the room we stayed in overlooked BC place and the view is fantastic. There's lots of food and stuff to do around. I'll always book here from now on if I need to stay downtown Vancouver! The staff are friendly and like to chat. Thanks for the nice experience!

Location is great, the check in was simple, staff where very friendly. Not fancy and the bed was not very comfortable but to be able to stay downtown for a reasonable price is great.
