Private room and the reception was available 24h. Even when I had to check out at 5 in the morning, everything went smoothly. It was very peaceful, but there was still everything you needed close.

I'm pretty satisfied with my stay in this room. This is a typical room in the student dormitory in a very quite place. The shower room and toilet were very clean. WiFi connection was great. The place is not located to the next of bus station but it is a good thing for people who like walking a lot.

The rooms proposed by the hotel are student rooms which happen to be free during summer. The comfort is therefore that of a student room (basic equipment in the room, shared bathroom), something which is very clear on the website. This being said, this is a great place in summer: the check-in people are very friendly, there are very few people in the building (so essentially no noise and no problem with the fact that the bathroom is shared). The thermal isolation is not that great (the building is a bit old), but it did not create issues for my stay during summer. This is a direct bus to downtown, and several restaurants with different styles on campus.

Being on the campus was actually peaceful. Access to the buses made transit to city easy. Browns pub was excellent. Easy access to Wreck and Tower beaches (some may want to be informed of the optional clothing aspect).

It's a student halls of residence, rented out as a hostel for the summer. Price was reasonable for Vancouver. Good access to Wreck Beach and the Pacific Spirit forest. Staff were lovely.

Very sadly my veteran son was mentally unstable when he checked into the hotel and I had booked it for him. THE HOTEL managed his booking very professionally and were very considerate.. thank you for your compassion and human touch.
