Clean, friendly, great restaurants nearby, great view of the harbour, good continental breakfast pastries, modern room and washroom, quiet.

We were so pleasantly surprised by the Granville Island Hotel! We weren't too sure what to expect - we had neve been to Vancouver before and didn't know what Granville was like. We were charmed immediately! The hotel lobby is gorgeous, the staff were excellent, and our room was cozy, clean, and ready 4 hours ahead of schedule. The restaurant downstairs is exceptional and so easily accessible. We were able to walk down to the Granville Island Market for breakfast every morning, which was absolutely lovely. We would love to come back again!

I like the breakfast however that said, I would encourage adding more to the menu. Overall, we love the place for its convenience, walkability and setting. :)

The staff is great! I couldn't connect to the wifi, and the front desk promptly provided me with an alternative that helped me to be online again.

I had a wonderful stay. Beautiful views at the water’s edge. Lovely friendly staff and comfortable bed. Clean bathroom. Good quality traditional furnishings. I would not hesitate to return or recommend. Great breakfasts. Fridge in bedroom.

Location- accessible to writers fest venues and art hub. Quieter location than downtown vancouver
