Barclay House has real charm. It is located in a great spot, walking distance to everything in Vancouver and close to public transport. Dennis the B&B manager is so friendly and helpful! He made us feel so welcomed and was always available to chat. The breakfast was good and large! Dennis makes the muffins fresh daily and they are to die for. Would highly recommend staying here!

Loved the neighborhood and Barclay House was all in for Halloween. Close to Stanley park and lots and lots of dining choices.

Barclay House is an exceptional place to stay.We entered the gate and were greeted by amazing Hallowe'en decorations.The house is certainly more than ready for ghosts and goblins.Dennis,our host, was so personable and gracious,not to mention warm and funny.We felt we had known him forever.There was another guest at breakfast,which was delicious,by the way,and the four of us had a wonderul time sharing travels and future plans.The suite we stayed in was beautifully decorated..the photo is on the description of Barclay House.The bed was so comfortable.There was a huge wall tv and a fireplace in the bedroom.We will surely return the next time we go to Vancouver.Thank you,Dennis for such a lovely,memorable time!Barclay House felt like more than just a pleasant overnight stay..it felt like home.We highly recommend staying here!

Lovely comfortable room and the owners were really friendly and helpful (even let me leave my luggage at the B&B on my last day as I wasn't flying until the evening and wanted to explore). Fantastic location within walking distance of so many facilities and attractions. Everything was clean, comfortable and functional.
