Based on local tax laws, all Chilean citizens and resident foreigners must pay an additional fee (IVA) of 19%.Foreign tourists: to be exempt from this 19% additional fee (IVA) the payment must be made in US dollars and a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented. The passenger won’t be exempt from this fee when paying in local currency. In case of no show the invoice will be billed in local currency, including this additional fee (IVA).* This additional fee (IVA) is not included in the hotel rates and must be paid separately.Foreign business travellers, who require a printed invoice, will also be charged the additional 19% regardless of the length of their stay in Chile.Pets can be accommodated for CLP 12,000 per pet per night upon request. Great pre-cruise location. Easy access to funicular to wander through street art. We caught the train to the port. It was a couple blocks from the hotel and cost about $1 for both of us.

Clean room, friendly staff, good breakfast. Close to the tourist attractions such as Palacio Baburizza. Train station right next to the hotel.

Conveniently located, close to the port and at walking distance from most Valparaiso’s landmarks. Breakfast was very good, the staff very helpful and kind.

Inexpensive with breakfast, near train station, close to waterfront that I could say goodbye to my ship, spacious room, helpful staff Note to cruise passenger: You will get through VTP, two station away (although your ship may berth very close to the hotel)

A great location with amazing views from the 2 windows. Central to the start of many tours. The breakfast was adequate. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Good strong Wi-Fi .

The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfast offering was terrible. Room was spotless...very clean.
