We’d booked in for one night at Casona and it was absolutely bliss after some tiring days of travel. Marco and the team are the best hosts, and whether you want a day by the pool with wine and food, or recommendations for local trips, they make it happen. We loved it so much, we changed our plans for the final leg of our trip, and came back for another two nights. Dinners were also great, and amazing wine on offer. Couldn’t recommend enough! This hidden gem is a very nice place to rewind and relax. The house and the rooms are very charismatic/authentic and the pool is a nice plus. The manager Marcus is very helpfull making your stay optimal. As a surprise he arranged a mountainbike, so for Dutch people this is fantastic 😎 The breaky and dinner, beers and wines are very nice too. I stayed an extra day because it's so relaxed.

We had an amazing stay. Marcos is a great host and welcomed us with a glass of wine from the Casablanca region. He helped to find wineries in the neighborhood that we could visit for tastings. The refugio has a beautiful garden, comfortable rooms, a relaxing swimming pool area and a cosy shared (large) living room. We would visit again if we ever get back to Chile.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful, with many flowers, a koi pond, and even some grape vines.. Our room was spacious. Marcos and the staff were attentive and helpful. He has an amazing knowledge of the wines of the valley and beyond. We ate dinner there each night and the chef produced tasty and elegant meals, accompanied by really good wines.

Eitan and Marcos were great hosts. They organised for us to go to a vineyard every day (3 days) including transfers etc. Villard and Casas del Bosque are stand outs. The rooms are spacious and there’s a nice central area with open fire to relax. The outdoor pool area is beautiful. Breakfast is plentiful and includes fruit, eggs, bread, meat & cheese, cake, coffee, juice. There is a Taberna 2 mins walk away with a good selection of beers and wines and a decent food menu.
