Hotel Overview

Prehistoric Lodge - Adult Only is located at the entrance of the Gorges de l’Ardèche Nature Reserve, just 100 metres from the Chauvet Cave. It offers guest rooms with a terrace and free WiFi access.
Each room is an independent ecolodge, decorated elegantly in a style inspired by the local environment. Each room is air-conditioned and overlooks the gardens. The en suite bathrooms have a shower and spa bath. All accommodations benefit from daily cleaning service.
A continental breakfast is served daily. Guests can also enjoy local cuisine at Le Chamane restaurant, which is open for brunch, lunch and evening meals. Packed lunches can also be arranged.
Guests can explore the local area on canoes available for hire at the hotel. The hotel is located 50 km from the Cevennes National Park and 79 km from the historic city of Nîmes.

The location of the room was fantastic with the most amazing view. It also was quite roomy. The staff was incredibly friendly and the fact that you can choose to have your dinner either in the restaurant or the room was amazing.

The location is beautiful. The staff were friendly and really helpful and just made the experience even more special. Our lodge was cosy and surprising cool despite the hot weather. The canoe trip organised through the staff was spectacular, and the dinners and breakfasts (and the local wine!) were all great. I’m so glad we stayed here.

What a hidden Gem in the Heart of the Ardeche. Perfect location. We took supper at the Lodge as well and it was amazing. Thank you so much for a perfect stay. We wanted to stay longer.
