There is a terrace in the garden at the back of the apartment reachable by the port in the castle wall. It overlooks the moat and surrounding lands. Dogs are allowed on request in both the houses and hotel rooms at an additional cost of € 15.00 per night or € 25.00 for 2 dogs per night.

The grounds and the view of the castle were lovely. The downstairs open plan kitchen/diner/lounge was comfortable. The building was obviously old (1738) with very thick walls. There was an outside dining area between the building and the moat. We would have liked to stay for longer to explore the area.

surroundings were gorgeous with so many walks. castle is very special view. the houses are a bit dated and could do with a little renovation.
