Almira “Great location, but with some notable downsides”

The hotel has a perfect location—it’s within walking distance of all the main historical landmarks in Valencia, so there’s no need for a car or public transport at all, which is a huge plus. However, the hotel has a very strong and strange smell throughout the building, which can be quite unpleasant at first. If you’re staying for several days, you may get used to it, but it’s definitely one of the biggest downsides. On a positive note, the housekeeping staff is very dedicated. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, and the cleaning staff is friendly and polite. I didn’t have much contact with other hotel staff, as there seemed to be very few around. One of the disappointments was the empty minibar/fridge—it would have been nice to have at least some basic refreshments. Also, there is no coffee machine in the room, which I missed. All in all, I would say the hotel deserves a good rating mainly because of its excellent location and the small balcony where you can sit and enjoy the view, especially if the weather is nice.

The location was excellent and the shower was really good and strong. I liked the coffee machine and the use of a balcony with an amazing view.

Perfect accommodation, exceptionally clean, fragrant, comfortable, equipped, quiet room. Kind and helpful staff. Very easy to reach from the airport. The sights in the city center are within walking distance. Perfect Hotel in Valencia. I can only recommend it! :)

Very conveniently located for tourist attractions and for bars and restaurants, including the railway station; also ALL of the warm, accommodating and friendly staff we came across that made our stay a very pleasant experience!

Great location near the “Ayuntamiento” a central plaza in Valencia. Close to everything walking around and exploring is very easy. Very friendly staff.

The hotel is right on the main square although we had a standard room that overlooked a side street which was as expected given the price we paid. Breakfast is really good and the rooms while basic are comfortable. The location could not have been better with everywhere in the old town within easy reach and bus stops near by for travel further afield. We would stay here again.

The bed was so comfortable and the room was big and had a fantastic view. And even tho it was onto a busy square the room was very quiet.
