The staff was frindly, the breakfast was good, gave us a shuttle to the beggining of the trak to Teth for 5 euros.. Good shower, hot water, nice big bad ( make sure not to have a single bad when you order the room )

This house is located on the property of an Albanian family, they’re the hosts. There is literally only a small box called a market 10 minutes walking away where you can buy food to survive the hike, but for dinner and breakfast Valbona is like a dessert. Luckily this family offers a wonderful homemade dinner and breakfast in their home for a reasonable price (dinner 10 & breakfast 5). The cabin was very nice the ambience around the whole stay was cozy and wonderful. We also asked for a drive to the start location of the hike, which was possible for 5 euro’s total.

Very friendly, helpful and generous hosts. The extra dinner was lovely and we could ask for packed lunches. Rooms were clean and WiFi worked well.

Lovely guesthouse, brand new wooden building, felt very modern and luxurious compared to other guesthouses we stayed in. En-suite bathroom, our own seating area on the balcony with stunning views over valbona valley. Food was nice, €10 for dinner. 5.7k walk from the official start of the Theth/valbona hike, 3k walk along the road to where the off road path starts (but this is the same for most of the guesthouses in Theth).

Firstly, the hosts were lovely and welcoming.They also helped us to arrange mininbus transfer from the Lake Koman ferry. We stayed for two nights in the new guesthouse chalet - the room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The views out to the mountains were spectacular. The location is good to explore Valbona, with great trail options 5 minutes walk away. The Valbone to Theth trail is a 35 min walk away, but the host offered us a lift to the start (for a very small cost) which was great! Food wise, we enjoyed fresh and healthy breakfasts and hearty dinners there, although the dinner was the exact same both nights. Overall, a great relaxing stay in Valbone and we'd recommend to anyone visiting.
