Hospitality, service of the staff was excellent. Very friendly people! And about breakfast and dinner: the best we have had in Kerala. The homestay is very pleasent, nice views from balcony and also a nice pool. Very peaceful. Furthermore, around the home stay you can have a great hike through plantages. Also Vagamon is near , easy reachamable with a tuktuk. Nice walks and sceneries down there aswell!

What I loved about Vanilla County was its idyllic location, surrounded by lush greenery and a peaceful atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. The staff were warm and friendly, making the stay even more enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious, made with fresh, local ingredients. A truly refreshing getaway!

Superb food, as good as home cooked. The old bungalow is beautiful and maintained very well. The staff is well trained and very courteous and the service was outstanding. The family which lives in the resort was very friendly and welcoming. The resident Labrador, Koffy, was the perfect host and made all of us feel at home.

The facility itself was splendid. Additionally, cleanliness and service was top notch. Food was authentic Kerala cuisine in its purest form.

This place feels like you get disconnected from the world. It is very well maintained, clean and hygienic and everything is handpicked. Very calm and serene and picturesque. This place is eco-friendly. Paper bags are used for garbage instead of polytene garbage covers and glass bottles are used for water instead of single use plastic water bottles. The food was very good. They offer a buffet for all 3 meals. The dining place has a very good ambience. The garden in and around the place is very well maintained. The rooms are very well kept, hygienic and offer a very good view. We chose mountain view room and the view from this room was heavenly. The play area and indoor games were enjoyable. The best part of this stay is the people. They are very humble and courteous and you would never see them frowning upon or with a grumpy face. They would try to provide whatever it is that you would ask for. The hosts Silu and Mathew were warm and welcoming. The care takers Anand and Maju were very friendly and courteous. Even the host’s dog, Coffee is friendly and playful. I would definitely recommend this place for a laid back, calming vacation.

A gem of a homestay. Absolutely wonderful. Tucked away, yet very accessible. Nice rooms, heritage all over. Super friendly competent team and personally engaged owners. Delicious foods, supplemented by on-site bakery. Definitely a place to come back to.

This is a beautiful plantation house, retaining its gorgeous traditional features and furnishings. It is set in lovely gardens, in a lush and green area both teaming with birds and butterflies. We had a warm and friendly welcome from everyone and immediately felt relaxed. We then had a problem with one of our passports. They were amazing, sending a member of staff 200km on a motorcycle to meet my daughter and swap passports back. That’s when you really know that you’re staying somewhere very special! The food was really good varied and plenty full, even baking delicious breads and cakes on the premises. The staff were very helpful and we felt they wanted to make our stay the best it could be. We were sad to leave this wonderful place, would love to come back and highly recommend you stay here!

Curated experience and homely stay in a beautiful property!! Food cleanliness warmth of the staff! Koffi the friendly labrador was a great pet and my daughter loved playing with him! Also my wife Deepthy loved the sustainability and the flora the lovely trees and plants that added to the magic of the place!
