The room was pleasant, with a lovely rural outlook. The bed was comfy. There were extra pillows and cosy blankets in the storage boxes.

Location was good with one pub and one restaurant at walking distance from the property. Yard was good for the dog to run and stretch his legs in the night. Since not an enclosed yard its better to keep them on leash at all times. Rooms are clean and comfortable with air conditioning and if you pay $29.00 extra you will get a microwave for heating your food if you need, during your stay. Our room came with an unwanted guest :) (something like a google home or alexa with a mic) which we are not that fond of, however, if you like technology so much then you will enjoy your interactions with that guest. Host was very hospitable and made sure that we had all the supplies we needed for our stay. Hunter Valley Gardens is an hour drive from the property and the river walk near to the property is only a two minute walk from the property to see a river from top. Overall, this is a nice place to stay if you are looking for a calm and relaxing stay away from the crowd with modern facilities including a TV with Netflix and Youtube to watch.

The view out the back was great! Such a clean, well kept space, the bed was comfy and the amenities provided were more than enough! The hosts were super friendly and accommodated our every need, we loved our stay! Having a dog friendly pub right next door was awesome, made things much easier at the end of the day.

Located in a lovely, quiet spot and boasts a very clean and charming room. From the outside, it appears like any other roadside motel. However, the interior is tastefully decorated and the bed is very comfortable. We had a fantastic dinner at the pub next door, and a killer breakfast at the cafe and general store across the road. Overall, a lovely spot for a quick escape. Cannot do better for the price.
