Location was within walking distance of city centre and attractions. About a 10 minute walk to main train station. Although it would be advisable to get a taxi if you have large luggage. Breakfast: plenty of choice, pleasant/helpful staff. Very clean and tidy.

The hotel is a bit old, but the rooms are clean and the service staff are very dedicated. It is located near Tobu Station. There are department stores and shopping streets to visit, but the business hours are only until 7:00 pm.

Heater in the room is very warm; great during winter. There is no air con so you have to open the windows for cool air (hahaha). Room service is great; they refill two bottles of water daily.

Hotel is place in center town.It has many restaurants and supermarket near.Room is large and comfortable (2beds).

Great value for money on a mid-week stay. This hotel feels like it was probably built as a 4-star hotel but a lack of maintenance has brought it down to 3 stars - there's a certain feel of "past its prime" but the facilities are still quite nice. The public areas in particular are much "fancier" than what you'd expect from such a cheap hotel. Air conditioning works fine and is almost completely silent, but it is an older type with central temperature control, meaning you can only adjust the fan speed. The room is more spacious than in business hotels in the same price range. Staff are very polite and helpful, and they speak good English. Breakfast is also excellent with a wide variety of foods available in the buffet. The location is good, it's close to Tobu Utsunomiya station and JR's station is a short bus ride away.
