“An excellent alternative to staying in Iprari”

Staff were so welcoming and kind, really helped make my birthday special. Comfy rooms with beautiful views and a great place to spend the night on day 3 of the trek. Beer + wine available. Half decent WiFi in the common area. A lovely little welcome package of shampoo, soap, toothbrush, chewing gum and slippers. Shower was hot. They were very accommodating of my dietary requirements (vegan) and the advantage in comparison to other guesthouses was that you were able to choose what you wanted to eat. Considering they have just opened, they are doing an excellent job.

Quiet and peaceful place. A very delicious dinner. Very nice hosts. The taste of history can be felt in the building.

Although Khalde is a very small settlement pretty hard to reach, Qaldea Resort is surprisingly well-equipped and offers great services. After a long hike from Ushguli, the warm showers and the delicious food were all we needed before getting a good night's rest. The beds were a bit squeaky, but some earplugs can help with that. ;)

Everything was great! Our host was so welcoming and the space was set out so well. We had some delicious wine in the sun before sitting down to a full meal and then playing some backgammon which our host joined in on (and played very well!)

We had a fantastic evening and night at Qaldea resort! The location is simply perfect and beautiful and the food was absolutely amazing, we had a long warmful dinner and enjoyed some nice music at the end of a rainy day. The 2 young owners was so nice and attentive to our needs, we even had the chance to learn how to make a proper lobiani! Many thanks again for the experience!

The view is amazing. It is located 45 min to Iprari so you can better balance the walking time between day 3 and day 4. Dinner costs 40 GEL with generous portions and excellent food prepared by a chef from Tbilissi. There is also free homemade wine and free homemade chacha. There is a complimentary lunch box. Best of all, the people at the guest house are the nicest I've met on the trek, kind, caring and very helpful. It is the best guest house I've stayed at during the 4 days of the trek.

Great location on the Mestia Ushguli trek. Charming old house located very quietly with fantastic views. Great and very helpful staff. Fantastic food for dinner and breakfast. All prepared freshly!

Helpful staff, nice view and extremely relaxing place! We were glad to have booked here. The other place was full of people and music (we had been there for a beer and it was fun but we would have stay there for the night), so.. if you are looking for quite and relax this is the place to stay! We loved it. The food was really good and they made us an early breakfast to start the trekking day (we wanted to take the upper trail to ushguly)

The location is amazing, at the historic village of khalde. Rooms are comfortable. Good wifi. Very nice common area, and beautiful garden, Perfect for Relaxation after a long hiking day. The highlight for us was the super friendly hosts. They were so nice and generous. They worked hard to make us feel at home. We really enjoyed our stay. highly recommended!

Nice location with friendly English speaking staff, great dinner and breakfast, definitely worth stopping in Kalde before entering Ipari during the 4 day trek to Ushguli - really calm and stunning views
