The family were so kind to us, they prepare delicious food and on our second night even invited us to join them for homemade Khinkali with some friends and other guests. The bar area is super cosy with the log fire, and even though the temperatures were reaching -15 in the night, the bed was comfy and warm. They provide a small heater for the room too which really helps. We really enjoyed our stay here and it's a great location to reach any area of the village on foot.

Cozy hotel, kind hosts, delicious locally prepared food. It was the coziest and most personal accommodation we had in all of Georgia.

A wonderful small hotel in a smaller side village from Ushguli, Merkuli, which retains its original character and architecture (numerous towers all around). This offers a really authentic village experience and an exceptionally friendly stay. The quality of food and drinks was remarkable, created in a small kitchen/dining room, set out comfortably inside, but also with outside seating. Very friendly conversations. The owner also drove us back to Mestia carefully for 200 GEL.
