As with previous stays at this hotel, I requested a quiet room on top floor (there are only 2 floors) at the far end of the corridor away from the stairs and public traffic. As always, my request was met and it was so quiet I had a great night's sleep with no disturbance whatsoever! A large room with sofa and large comfy bed. Electric heater so I could control how warm I wanted the room. Also the use of a microwave in the main lobby to heat an evening meal was convenient. The parking is free which is getting harder to find with hotels. Also a continental breakfast included. All in all, very good value for under £60.

Friendly helpful staff. An effort was made with the lay out of the breakfast and there was an adequate choice of food to eat. The beds were very comfortable. The rooms were light and airy. The parking was excellent and the location was easy to find and although on a main road the hotel was set back so that noise was not a real problem.

For such a bargain price this was an excellent place to stay. It included disabled facilities, and the staff were very helpful. It is surrounded by very beautiful countryside, but close to main roads going east west. It was a very comfortable overnight stay.

Only one issue and that was the height of the toilet for a disabled room it was very high . The wife is only 5ft 1" she did struggle to get seated due to the height. I'm 5ft 6" and it was not comfortable l was on my tip toes . The rest of our stay was fine .
