Lovely surroundings with wildlife, including monkeys and monitor lizards. Very comfortable and tastefully decorated rooms. Complimentary water, tea, and coffee. Fantastic breakfast that changed everyday. There was that much offered that I struggled to eat again until the evening. Really nice staff.

Absolutely beautiful view of the ocean, super comfy clean rooms, feels like you’re in the jungle but no bugs in the room, staff were absolutely lovely and the breakfast was unreal! Highly worth the trip up the hill

Lovely spacious clean fresh room nicely decorated, balcony with view was very comfortable to sit and read. Breakfast area on highest level has stunning views over Unawatuna Beach. Beautiful staff who are keen to please. Thoroughly enjoyed breakfast with coconut pancake and potato curry Bath mat would be nice.

Friendly family running Lara’s place - very helpful booking onward travel etc. Room comfortable and clean with good aircon and wifi. A delicious and huge Sri Lankan breakfast with a beautiful view every morning.

Fantastic stay. Amazing views over unawatuna. It is up a hill, which is walkable but you'll likely get a few tuk tuks to and from the place. They have a couple of locals living nearby that offer tuk tuks and are very friendly. The town can be a bit lively so we were happy with being outside of it. Service was great. Lara and the staff are very helpful. Arranged alternative breakfasts for us as we were out early every morning. Also in amongst nature there - we saw monkeys, lots of birds and even a whale off in the distance at one point.
