Located in Ulverston, Swarthmoor Hall is a 16th century country house set in beautiful gardens in 130 acres of organic farmland. Free on site private parking is available.

Lovely quiet weekend away. Accomodation simple in style in keeping with the history of the property, but had everything we needed for a weekend away. In particular, the kitchen was suitably equipped to allow us to cook from scratch rather than relying on convenience foods.

We had a great stay at Swarthmoor Hall. The location is incredibly peaceful, offering a lovely getaway surrounded by nature, yet only a short distance from Ulverston town centre. The beautifully maintained gardens were a highlight. The accommodation itself was both cozy and comfortable. With a lot of luggage, we truly appreciated being able to drive right up to the front of the accommodation to unload before parking, which made our arrival so much easier. We recommend staying at Swarthmoor Hall.
