Mala's is a good property. They are very quiet and its right at the edge of Kudremukh forest. The whole scenery is enchanting and the air is so fresh. However you have to remember that it is nowhere near Udupi. It is an hour and 10 mins away from Udupi so if your plan is to be somewhere which is close to Udupi then avoid this. If your plan is to relax and rejuvenate in the midst of nature, then this is right place. Also don't plan for just one day, its not worth it, you need to invest minimum two days at this location.

This is an amazing house tucked away in the middle of the woods on top a beautiful viewed mountain area. Clean and very well kept. You can see how dear this place is to the owners. You may also opt for home cooked meals that are simple but tasty. Enjoy a cup of masala tea with a nice view. The network here isn’t so good but they have plenty of books and puzzles on the bookshelves that you might enjoy. Be ready for an exciting experience off grid! Water is available and there is a boiler and a generator just in case. Even though we arrived after a power outage the generator kept running and we had everything working. There is also a shower! I recommend to get there in advance and well before dark, as the road is tricky. All the places nearby are worth exploring especially the Durga falls and ancient Jain temples.

It’s in jungle which I loved and it feels so close to nature plus the host are too good and helpful plus the gave us plants ✨🌺

Serene and isolated, it is ideal for experiencing pure nature. Bunglow is very well designed with all the windows covered with net and a well equipped kitchen. There's a beautiful waterfall nearby, and plenty of space to walk around. The whole ambience of this place is mesmerizing. Caretakers are very sincere and promptly responded to all our requests. Food here is simply amazing and very well prepared.
