I loved the little lodge, it was in beautiful gardens, the owners were very welcoming and accommodating! They organised everything for us including the safari, transfers and even a surprise birthday cake for me when I went on safari! Lovely people, great food and mango curry The lodge is beautiful, very clean with everything you need, and I think it's very cheap for what you get! 10 out of 10. Fantastic, thank you for everything.

We stayed here for one night. It was a beautiful hotel. The staff at the reception and the maintenance team were very friendly. Nice comfortable beds (I would rate the firmness of the bed as 10 out of 10). The food selection is limited if you are looking for Asian/Sri Lankan food. Otherwise, there are many items to choose from on the menu. The safari is 10/10. The driver is very good. Good experience on the safari. Thanks....

The owner is a wonderful host, he organized a great tour, really good breakfast included! The place is really beautiful, very few tourists, so you feel like you are in Sri Lanka, on a beautiful road with incredibly friendly people wherever you go. The safari was great. Saw 31 elephants. Awesome. The driver knows the animals very well.

Super friendly host, delicious breakfast, room and bathroom very clean! The host arranged a driver for us at a very good price and also arranged a safari tour including entrance and breakfast at Uduwalawa National Park. The safari was amazing our guide saw many animals and explained everything we needed to know.

This property is truly paradise! Very beautiful. Rooms are self contained, large and modern! Lovely balcony. The name of the main man who took care of us was Ravidu. Was my favorite host in Sri Lanka so far. He is very helpful, warm and friendly! The coffee he makes is the best coffee we have had in Sri Lanka! We saw a lot of elephants when we went on safari. Safaris are arranged at a reasonable price.

Beautiful en-suite bedroom with bathroom, two double beds, dressing table. Drinking water is readily available and the owner will make you freshly brewed (proper) coffee or tea whenever you want. Wonderful breakfast with freshly cut local fruit, yoghurt, perfect omelette, pancakes if desired. Safari was very good. Lots of elephants in udawalwe.

This place was amazing. - Great location. Tucked away in a quiet street, but can walk 15 mins to RET junction where you can find shops and restaurants. The elephant orphanage is about 25 min walk, or the host can take you by their own tuktuk for a reasonable fee. It is also nice and quiet at night, bar a few barking dogs in the area! - Lovely host. She runs it with her family and they are the nicest and most helpful people. They helped organise our safari tour. Her daughter and mine are the same age so was very cute to see them both playing together - The room is very spacious, clean and comfortable. The AC works well and the shower has good pressure and hot water - You can also have lunch here for 3000LKR per person. It's served like a banquet and so delicious Overall, a very comfortable stay and I highly recommend staying here.

Our stay was absolutely authentic. Far from the usual touristy GuestHouses, here we lived with the locals. Chintha and Suranga introduced us to their world and culture, and did everything they could to make our stay exceptional. I recommend this place and this wonderful family to anyone who wants to experience Sri Lanka in all its authenticity.
