We stayed one night at Max’s place and were absolutely satisfied. The accommodation was very clean and beautifully furnished. The dinner was homemade and tasted amazing. The service was truly outstanding, just like at breakfast, which left nothing to be desired. Max also organized the safari for us and was a great help with other requests. We would definitely recommend this place! :)

The accommodation was very clean, spacious and simply all we needed for one night. Max also offers safaris and makes sure that your wishes or preferences for the safari are considered. Our driver was amazing as he wasn’t rushing like the other drivers and he noticed and pointed out even little things like the footprint of a leopard in the sand or the quills of a porcupine. I was very happy that we got him as our driver ☺️

We had a cosy stay at Max Vila Safari and fantastic safari organized by Max. Deluxe family suite was spacious, at the entrance there was seating area with TV and then in the other room were 2 big beds. More than enough space for the 4 of us, with our 4 large suitcases. Everything was nice and clean. Max is such a great host and his family is so sweet! Max's mum cooked us delicious lunch on the arrival and Max prepared da tasty BBQ that evening. Prices were so fair, safari was very good price and we had the jeep to ourselves. Meals were very reasonable and we also took transfers with minivan from Mirissa to his home and next day from his home to Ella. As I told you, if I could give you 100 I would, but I can "only" give you a 10! Max Safari Villa has my warmest reccomendation

Beautiful stay at Max Safari Villa. My partner and I stayed for 2 nights and felt welcomed throughout by the whole family. We were able to arrange our safari trip at a days notice and was given an extremely reasonable price. Our guide was knowledgeable and excellent at finding wildlife. He took us to spots outside of the busy areas to make some unforgettable experiences! Traditional Sri Lankan breakfast and dinner is cooked by the family and is extremely tasty. Some of the best we’ve had on our trip to Sri Lanka. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. They are provided with a double bed, AC and fan. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to friends and family :)

The owner is a very friendly and attentive host. He organized a great safari tour for us. The meals at the restaurant are absolutely delicious, made of fresh local ingredients. Highly tecommend.

Max was a great host and organised a really good safari with a very knowledgeable driver. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable and there was a terrace where we were able to relax. The food was delicious!! I would definitely stay here again!
