Very well-kept and clean, cosy room with all the amenities. The personal approach towards guests. Extremely friendly owners who can help you organise everything. I recommend Kuma’s safari 100%!!! It was excellent and the guide was caring and knowledgeable, visibly passionate about his job. I’ll be back :)

Exceptional location surrounded by beautiful fruit trees. The room was very comfortable and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We booked the Kuma Safari sunrise tour and it exceeded all our expectations. Our guide Naveen was outstanding, extremely knowledgable and took us to the best parts of the park to see extraordinary wildlife. The stay at Kuma Safari Lodge was one of the highlights of our trip and one of our favourite places we stayed at.

Fantastic location, super close to the park entrance. The team organised our safari at a reasonable price and were great at communicating. The safari was excellent and we had a great time! We also went to the elephant orphanage in the evening which was excellent!! The room itself is comfortable and has what you need. Great value for money.

The host at Kuma safari was very accommodating, we had to move our booking back a day and he was very understanding, changing it with no fuss. They also have safaris available that pick you up from the accommodation, the guide was very knowledgeable and managed to get us to the park first and drive to places away from the crowds so we could observe the animals and nature alone. I would highly recommend staying and booking a safari through Kuma if you are going to Udawalawe!

The hosts were incredibly sweet and went above and beyond to help us arrange a fantastic safari experience. The room was very clean and comfortable, though the Wi-Fi was not working during our stay. The food on the first night was just okay, but the hosts were quick to adjust the breakfast to our tastes, which we appreciated. Overall, their hospitality made our stay truly memorable.

This place is a gem. So clean and really comfortable bed and pillow. The owner and his wife are so welcoming. Nothing was a problem for them. I wasn’t well and he organised some medicine and herbal tea for me , which made me feel better. Definitely recommend
