The rooftop view was amazing, staff was kind, the vibe of a hostel was great! It was in the center, so you can enjoy your stay in Udaipur without any concers of transportation..

Starting from the view, the view was amazing, all the events the conducted were amazing, the hosts are fun, most of the places to visit our around the hostel so you can explode the city walking.

The location is perfect, close to everything but still quiet. Beds are comfy and clean. My room (6 people) was big and had everything you needed. The view from the rooftop is awesome! Also, the staff organize activities everyday for the guests, it makes it easy to meet other travellers. Vibes in this Hostel are a 10!

Overall cleanliness was good, room was a good size with a large bathroom which had a good, hot shower. The terrace roof bar was on 2 levels, with great views of sunset. Location was great, in quiet area yet only minutes away from main areas

This hostel is great. It has an huge rooftop area (covered and non-covered) for socialising and/or relaxing. It’s a beautiful building and the staff are so friendly. They are the perfect balance of welcoming and sociable without forcing you to get involved. We stayed around Christmas time and they made such an effort with festivities. They were also very generous as we celebrated a birthday, too.

Excellent location, you can get around Udaipur on foot. Wonderful view of the sunset from the terrace. Clean, spacious room with all the necessary amenities. Amazing food prepared every day. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very young and fun atmosphere.

Staff is excellent, hospitable, cheerful and very accommodating. Special thanks to Dwisha who handled the booking and Vinit who handled my check-in and was very helpful when I asked for sightseeing/culinary suggestions. He even organised a 2-wheeler for me. Hostel Mantra gives you the option of carrying your own locks for the underbed drawers to stow luggage (5 stars for safety and privacy). What's also nice about this place is that it has direct access to Lake Pichola which has a rather nice promenade (Laal Ghat). Food is also available and customisable on the terrace (a pleasant environment to sit and chill). The live music in the evenings was also nice.
