Royal Kamuela Villas & Suites were exceptional and we will definitely be returning. The suite with all its luxurious amenities (including a huge bath and a very comfy bed), it’s perfect location, sensational food and very inviting pool made our stay so very enjoyable. The staff were warm, professional and friendly. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they always went above and beyond. Royal Kamuela Villas & Suites proximity to the Monkey Forest and perfectly maintained landscape and gardens led to a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Everything! This wonderful property is in the centre of Ubud but feels a world away. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the rooms are gorgeous and spacious. Breakfast is a la carte and well-prepared each morning. The staff are EXCEPTIONAL, and a big thank you for making my stay so delightful. I also sued the spa services, which were also fantastic.

Our experience at Royal Kamuela was absolutely wonderful. The rooms are stunning, impeccably clean, and serviced twice daily—every morning and evening. The room service is exceptional, reflecting the hotel’s commitment to guest comfort. The food at the hotel restaurant was a highlight of our stay. The breakfasts are varied and include options such as granola, traditional dishes, pancakes, and crepes, all of which are incredibly delicious, my favourite was the Nasi Goreng . We loved the restaurant so much that we didn’t feel the need to explore other dining options outside the hotel. Another standout feature is the on-site spa, which offers massages and various treatments. It’s a haven of relaxation, and the service provided is excellent. We were fortunate to attend the hotel’s special Christmas dinner, and every dish served was truly five-star—an unforgettable culinary experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating throughout our stay, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Without a doubt, we would love to return to Royal Kamuela. Our stay was nothing short of amazing, and we highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a luxurious and relaxing getaway.

- the bed and the pillows were super comfortable - the villa we stayed at and the hotel in general was very clean - staff were friendly, welcoming and very professional - the hotel and its staff were very organised and proactive - food was made quickly and we didn’t have to wait for long - the massages were great and the staff very professional.

Boutique hotel. Luxurious and spacious room overlooking the pool. Very helpful and courteous staff. Prompt service. Reasonable prices. Excellent location in the center of Ubud. Close to the palace and some nice eating places. While it’s quiet in the resort, the street is always bustling.

Stayed in the Villas for 2 nights. Absolutely fabulous. Private with 15m pool. The bedroom has floor to ceiling windows overlooking your private pool and garden. Villas are central to Ubud with shopping and restaurants.
