Lovely family run place, the room was so nice and clean, air conditioning worked a treat and the pool was gorgeous cool temperature. Only 5-10 mins walk into town (close to most things but far away enough that it is peaceful)

The breakfast is amazing, the staff is extremely kind and let you understand their culture if you want to explore The hotel has an amazing landscaping makes you feel that you are in the middle of the jungle

Family house with attitude. Great hospitality, perfect communication with the owner. Small delicious breakfast, served on the veranda in each room. Great restaurant on the second floor. Happy to be our guests.

Nice room at the pool, clean & very comfy bed. Breakfast served on the verandah, overlooking the beautiful garden and pool. (Definitely worth the few extra dollars) Great location close to the hart of Ubud, yet very peacefull and quiet. Friendly staff & had a lovely visit from the little pug that lives there. All in all, an amazing place to stay!

Jiwa House: A Gem in Ubud! We, a group of 6, recently enjoyed a fantastic 4-night stay at Jiwa House. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the perfect location, spacious and clean rooms, and the friendly hospitality of Jiwa and his staff. The Positives: Prime Location: Jiwa House is ideally situated within easy walking distance of all the key attractions and amenities. Having a mini mart just a minute away was a huge bonus for grabbing any essentials. Comfortable Accommodation: The rooms were incredibly spacious and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially appreciated the cleanliness and attention to detail. Delicious Breakfast: The breakfast was a highlight! Delivered right to our door at our chosen time, it was a delightful and convenient way to start each day. Exceptional Hospitality: Jiwa and his staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable stay. They were incredibly helpful in organizing activities and even provided transportation, making our explorations hassle-free. Areas for Improvement: Overall Impression: Despite the minor issue with linen changes, we had an absolutely wonderful experience at Jiwa House. The combination of a perfect location, comfortable accommodation, delicious breakfast, and outstanding hospitality made it an unforgettable stay. We would wholeheartedly recommend Jiwa House to anyone visiting Ubud and would definitely choose to stay there again in the future.

Jiwa’s house feels like a very mystical place. The room is simple, the location is great, walking distance to most places. Jiwa’s family was also very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was also delicious.
