Family-run guesthouse in beautiful Balinese property. Although the facilities are quite basic I felt I was staying in a luxurious hotel room, with a big private terrace that overlooks Ubud. The guesthouse is surrounded by rice fields but just a short walk from the busy Jalan Bisma. The family members are all very adorable and the home cooked breakfast delicious, in particular the beautifully presented tropical fruit salad, green coconut pancake and black rice pudding.

The place was booked very last minute and it was a hidden gem! It was located in a very central area in the city but still away from the noise. Mrs. Wayan and her family are really great hosts and made our stay very pleasant! The bathroom in our room was a big surprise: spacious, with rockfloored shower and a bathtub. Every detail was very carefully catered. Breakfast with pandan crepes was our favorite!

I had a wonderful stay at Bali Moon! The location is perfect, close to great restaurants, rice fields and Ubud Temple. The Balinese family that hosts the guest house is incredibly warm and welcoming, sharing their culture and traditions. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully served. The guest house has an amazing energy, making it feel like a holy place. With stunning views from my room, I truly felt transported to another world. I’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend!

you are in your own oasis just a few minutes walking from the main Ubud "chaos" yet in a quiet peaceful backstreet. The rooms with balconies are exceptionally beautiful. A very special place I'd say. There is a small breakfast menu where you choose your order the day before and everything we ordered was delicious. The hotel is run by a family. Always friendly, cleaning happened every day. We really enjoyed staying there!

The staff were excellent particularly Rai who was available to answer questions and arranged a tour for us with him which was great. Also lovely to stay in a house with so many Balinese cultural references

This place is amazing. I enjoyed every moment at Bali Moon Guesthouse. From the first step to the house you start feeling the real soul of Ubud and beautiful Balinese culture. Room and bathroom is huge and very well designed. Aircon and wifi is perfect. You have to walk to the house as there is no real road to reach the place. If you don't have too many luggages it's not a bog deal, you have to walk like 3 minutes. Waking up to fresh air and rice field view is worth to walk 3 minuntes. Very close to downtown Ubud, to the restaurants, temples etc - Less then 10 minutes walk. Owners are so lovely, kind an attentive to your requests. A great lovely family. Stay here, You'll love it ! PS: Breakfast is amazing !

This place is a jewel in Ubud. It’s a family-owned homestay, and the hosts are so nice and helpful. They assisted us with our daily itinerary and even lent us a scooter. Breakfast was always fresh and delicious! We had a special room with traditional Balinese ventilation and a roof that’s naturally open to the outdoors—it was simply perfect! The room is always comfortable and everything was well organized and clean. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed this place. On top of everything, it’s a great value for money and in an amazing location! Very quiet, peaceful, and silent at night.

Wonderful, atmospheric guest house amidst fields and with fantastic, ornate rooms. Lovely huge four poster bed and spacious accommodation and bathroom. Great breakfast and friendly staff.

Perfect location - close to the main part of Ubud, but very quiet and peaceful. Lovely traditional building. For the price it is wonderful.
