The location is excellent, right opposite a convenience store and reliable ATMs. The grounds are beautifully kept. The staff were wonderful and very friendly. The plunge pool was perfect to cool off after exploring in the humidity. Having your own water cooler was also fantastic. Banana pancakes are the best thing in the breakfast menu hands down! Loved the thermos of hot water provided every morning. All up, great value for money.

The location is by a busy road and still it’s complete tranquility from that on the property. We stayed for 4 weeks which is probably longer than most. We were served breakfast every morning, even one morning when we forgot to preorder the day before. They boys that clean the bungalow work very fast and will also help with getting you anything you need when you ask. As we were there working on our laptops it turned out the internet was not good enough, but the hotel really tried to fix it and installed a router on the house for better ready. It became A LOT better, and good for most things but not sufficient for voice or video meetings. Still great compared to the beginning. I could recommend it for distance working as long as you don’t have to do meetings. There is a lot of greenery on the property, it feels very authentic and offers quite a bit of wildlife that also enjoy the scenery. During our stay we cohabited with various types of ants, small and big geckos, bats, frogs and walking trough the garden even offered a more frogs, butterflies and even a few snake sightings. My wife and I are city dwellers and I won’t lie, she needed a flashlight at night because she was too scared of stepping on some poor animal.
