The place is exceptional in Ubud: A peaceful green and quiet oasis in walking distance from the center. Everyone in the team is super friendly and highly professionel. A huge special thanks to Amanda for her great kindness and helpfulness, she helped me with all my questions and requests and always responded very quickly. She is really a wonderful host. The one- bedroom villas and the honeymoon villa with the jungle view are amazing. The whole area and the garden are well maintained. The breakfast is fresh and tasteful. All in all, I could not recommend the place more and will definitely come back.

Beautiful surrounds with the gardens around all rooms and breakfast area, while still being only a short walk to shops and food. The room itself was lovely and spacious, same with the bathroom. The pool was also great! The staff were absolutely amazing, especially Nyoman and Amanda. Amanda was fantastic in providing suggestions and making bookings for me, and was consistently available, happy, and helpful.

The villa is immersed in so much greenery that you feel as if you are staying in the heart of the jungle. There are plants and trees of all kinds everywhere, with gardens and flowers everywhere giving authentic bali vibes. We stayed in a private villa with a private pool which was amazing. There was an outdoor kitchen with a microwave, stove top burner, some kitchen utensils, and an outdoor seating area next to the pool. There was also a water dispenser giving cold and hot water which was nice. Inside the room was extra large with a big bed and large sofa. Some of the bed linens and the mosquito nets around the beds had small stains. The bathroom had a shower and bathtub. The room was well equipped, and cleaned daily.

Very nice pool, outdoor sitting area and comfy bed and clean bathroom. Lots of great restaurants near by to walk to! Very helpful and friendly staff!

A Hidden Gem in Ubud! Our stay at Alas Petulu Cottages was truly memorable. What we loved: Beautiful Grounds: The lush tropical gardens created a peaceful and serene environment, making it feel like a private oasis. Spacious Villas: We booked two villas—one for our parents and the Honeymoon Villa for ourselves. The villa for our parents was spacious, featuring an amazing pool and a lovely outdoor area, perfect for relaxing. The Honeymoon Villa was breathtaking, especially the infinity pool overlooking the tropical forest. The villa itself was clean, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated with Balinese touches. Delicious Breakfast: The breakfast was well worth it. The fresh fruit, juices, amazing coffee, and a variety of cooked dishes gave us the perfect start to our day. The eating area was delightful, and the noodles were a standout! Friendly and Outstanding Staff: The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, always with a smile. From the moment we made our booking, their communication was exceptional. Using the Booking.com messaging system and later WhatsApp, they promptly answered all our questions, offered recommendations, and ensured everything went smoothly during our stay. A special mention goes to Amanda, who was at the front of house and served as our primary point of contact. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was exceptional. Her professionalism, kindness, and helpfulness stood out, making our experience even more special. Amanda communicated quickly and efficiently with us via WhatsApp, sharing her direct number to ensure we could easily reach her for any questions or requests. This personal touch and attention to detail truly enhanced our stay. We hope the hotel continues to recognize and value such an incredible professional. Close to Ubud’s main attractions yet tucked away enough to feel private, the location was ideal for exploring while also offering a peaceful retreat. We look forward to returning and highly recommend it!

Very very nice. We would be happy to come back again. It is clean, well-maintained, very aesthetic, the breakfast is also good. Special praise goes to the staff, they are extremely friendly and pleasant. On the first day we immediately noticed that the air conditioning was not working and they immediately arranged a repairman, before we went to bed everything was fixed. That is it. The location is also great, from the main street you just go up and in two minutes you are in the villa. Amanda, the lady who is in charged, exactly now how to menage this place.
