Very clean, good location 3 minute drive to Twizel town. Came from mt cook, so very handy stop at end of day. Large rooms, comfortable bed, the best shower. Provides ingredients to self cater for breakfast. Lovely host. Mint was lovely for dinner.

Our hosts were very welcoming, and the location and facilities fabulous. The bed was huge and comfortable and the bathroom a good size with excellent shower. The communal dining room / kitchen overlooking the runway worked well. There was a good selection of food to make up our own breakfast. In the evening we were the only people using the communal lounge upstairs to sit and read as the sun went down behind the mountains. Next morning we watched our host as he flew off in a two-seater plane with his daughter.

Spacious room, excellent location, and great to watch airfield activity. Mary, the owner, was very helpful. Included breakfast was a bonus.

Absolutely stunning. Fantastic location with views right up to Aoraki/Mt Cook. Prime location for stargazing and watching the sky divers take off and land next door. Extremely spacious and tastefully decorated room. Incredibly clean and a great free breakfast to start the day. Lovely hosts and the tour of their airplane hanger was an awesome surprise.

The staff were amazing, the guest living room overlooked the runway and it was perfect for watching the planes and skydivers. The facilities and option of seeing the amazing plane were great. Thank you

The location was amazing with views of mountains, Mt Cook, the planes and helicopters making landing and take off. The hosts were lovely and keen to share information on restaurants, the local area and anything FAQ. There is a great family room for everyone to stay in and the living area upstairs is good for relaxing. The breakfast is perfect to set you up for the day. The room is spotless with great quality bedding. The views at night of the stars without light pollution were wonderful.

The lodge is easy to locate and quiet, the rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed with wide open views. There was a warm welcome from Mary. The do_it_yourself breakfast spread was great with cooking facilities if you want to make an evening meal, too.
