Hostel Overview

Docked in the Aurajoki River in Turku, this boat hostel offers cabins with private bathrooms. Parking is free next to the boat when using a parking disk. Turku Castle is 500 metres away.
All cabins at Laivahostel S/S Bore have a wardrobe. Each has access to a TV lounge with a small library and newspapers.
Free WiFi is available in all areas. For an additional fee, the Bore Museum Exhibition can be experienced on board. Guests can relax on the furnished decks of the boat.

All I required was a clean and comfortable room to sleep in. I only stayed one night - the reception staff were excellent (friendly and helpful).

An hostel in the ferry was very original and my stay there was very great. It's very easy to find the location. The room is a bit small but it's normal because it's a former cabin. It's very clean inside and the breakfast is very nice.

It was a very interesting experience, staying on historical cruise boat. Definitely very unique! And location is perfect, with a direct bus from airport and close to many major attractions.

Great experience - when do you get to sleep in a ship eh :). Breakfast included, affordable single room, and extra option for sauna. It also has basic facilities for food prep ie microwave, dish etc and super market is nearby so pretty handy for budget travel. It is a bit far from the center but if you can use the city scooter, this is a trivial problem to be honest. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Very original experience. Rooms weren't so claustrophobic. It was nice to just walk and explore the ship. Breakfasts were ok.
