The accommodation was very homely and comfortable and the 4 of us who stayed there together felt very relaxed and at home; as did my large dog - a Rhodesian Ridgeback - who was warmly welcomed by the owners and allowed to socialise and play with the owners' dogs, which was a lovely bonus as I am used to people often reacting negatively to my dog. The location was excellent - just a short stroll to many bars, restaurants and the aquapark. The apartment had everything you would need to feel at home, including some helpful small things like instant coffee, sugar, wine glasses, many towels and places to hang them etc. The bedrooms, bedsheets, pillows, duvets etc. were very nicely made up and very clean. In our case, all 4 of us are dog lovers so we were delighted to meet the owners' Great Danes. It is true that they are huge dogs and sometimes bark, but the owners of the property are very responsible and conscientious about keeping their dogs behind closed gates and fences so that they do not come into contact with guests and it seems a bit unfair to me that other reviews make critical comments about the dogs. Fair enough - if you're the type to go weak at the knees with terror if you see or hear a large dog in the vicinity then maybe you should choose alternatiove accommodation. But if you're not phobic, you'll be fine and the owners will keep the dogs under control.
