Driving into this motel, the first thing that jumped into our eyesight was their clear and beautiful garden, which made it different from any other motels we have stayed in NZ. Besides the clean and cozy room, the staff's professionalism was outstanding - they took excellent care of our belongings when we accidentally left them behind during our early departure. Their honesty and responsibility truly impressed us.

A lovely little lodge with perfect facilities on site. Very near the town and river walking. We had a lovely day fishing in the river.

A pleasant surprise. A bit out of the center in a good way. Still within walking distance of a supermarket and some restaurants. Access to the river was great. Spacious room. Full kitchen, well-equipped overall. A lodge-like feel. Quiet.

The cabin was very big. It was fully equipped. It was calm and quiet, but not far from the city centre.

Place was perfect. Woken up by symphony of bird song every morning. River walk is right outside and is fantastic. We hired bikes and did 16km around the river. Visited hot springs outside of Taupo. Lodge had everything we needed for a couple of nights.

Not new and shiny but scrupulously clean and spacious. A lovely cottage with an outdoor deck, surrounded by beautifully manicured gardens in a gorgeous setting. The cottage had everything we needed. The shower had great pressure, the bed was firm and there was a heat pump, a full size oven, a fully equipped kitchen. Will definitely return for a longer stay.
