Female solo traveller - Excellent service and friendly staff. Good hotel, clean and aesthetically beautiful what more could you want! complementary oranges, chocolate and dates with your room everyday of your stay, lovely gesture. Breakfast was good and staff were really friendly and welcoming. 2 minute walk to the nearest souk and it is safe from the day and the evening, as i was a solo female traveller i had no issues at all. The hotel Taxi service is amazing, as well as the drop off too i really recommend of you want to travel with ease. I was very comfortable and happy throughout my stay. If you are looking for a nice, comfortable, good customer service, close to the medina/ shops/ restaurent's (cafes) this is the place! Not to forget the rooftop had amazing views too. Will be visiting again!

I liked everything about the property and specifically chose Tunis as my base to get to Libya because of wanting to stay in this hotel again! Beautiful property and delicious breakfast and staff are super helpful too

Everything was amazing. All the staff, from reception to the waiters and waitresses, were very kind and always happy to help. The spa/hamman is great to relax. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet. As for the location, Dar Dorra is in the middle of the medina, very conveniently close to the souk and the Kasba. Easy also to pick a taxi to go anywhere. I will definitely come back here.

This Dar deserves 11 out of 10. A beautiful hotel of 5* standard in a historic, superbly renovated building, and this for a very acceptable price. You just want to explore all the little courtyards, floors, and roof terrace, where excellent breakfast is served. A pre-booked taxi was sent to the airport. The lady at reception welcomed me, provided information regarding the town and transport, and helped with a small adaptor which I was even allowed to keep. The small room was equipped with everything I needed, very clean, and well air-conditioned. I also appreciated having a mini-bar. You are just 300 yards from government square and 100 yards from the souks, though the hotel is in a lit street and therefore in a central, but very safe, location.

Nice room, quiet and clean. Amazing staff, always ready to help. Breakfast and dinner/drinks on the rooftop were super good.
