Amazingly beautiful dar with kind and warm staff. The best part of my holiday was taking my breakfast to the roof and enjoying it there. Excellent coffee! The room was beautiful and roomy with a lovely bathroom

Pretty Heating was on which is welcomed arriving on the cold evening ! Slept well thanks The egg breakfast is great if only there’s more savoury and less sweet stuff which we don’t tend to eat that’ll be even more fabulous

I really liked this place. I wanted to stay in the historical place in the heart of Tunisian Medina, that's why I booked this hotel. Everything was amazing. I fell in love with interior, food and hospitality of staff. And I'd like to say thank a guy Youssef (I hope I wrote his name correctly), he helps with serving a breakfast and organize food workshops. He's the only person who spoke English really well and I could ask for help in English. It's really crucial as I don't speak French, so only Youssef helped to cope with everything. And I would like to mention the cleanliness, the room was very clean and cosy. Dar Ben Gacem is highly recommended!

Big room with amazing traditional decoration, rooftop terrace, and a library. Nice and helpful staff, very responsive. Tasty breakfast (especially the omelette). Very good location: around 10 min walk from the Medina on the beautiful rue de Pacha (where there is another, apparently even more luxurious Dar Ben Gacem by the same owners). Highly recommend for all those who want the experience the spirit of old Tunis.

The hotel is really beautiful, clean, amazingly decorated, and the staff is fantastic. They were very helpful and patient with us on our arrival day (our flight got to Tunis really late, after 1 am). The terrace is stunning, with a nice view on Tunis' rooftops. Our double room was spacious, and every day we had housekeeping and fresh bottles of water. The breakfast was also super appreciated, they serve a variety of fruit, bread and croissants, cheese and eggs (the shaksuka was fantastic!). The area is safe, also at night. I highly recommend it.

This is a beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of the medina in Tunis. It is wonderfully decorated - the rooftop terrace belongs in a magazine. The room was pretty and the bed was comfortable. We could walk all over the medina from the location. Taxis can drop you off a very short distance from the hotel. It is quiet. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious.
