Papaya Playa Project is a boutique hotel complex of beachfront cabins and cottages, located on Mayan Riviera in Tulum. Set on a 900-metre stretch of private beach, it offers rustic accommodation with panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea. a 24-hour front desk is available. The cabins at Papaya Playa Project are modestly decorated, with high ceilings, a private bathroom and lots of natural light. Some have sea views or views of the tropical gardens. Papaya Playa Project organises events every saturdays and once a month a full-moon party. All the events feature music from international DJs at its beach bar. There is also a spa specializing in Mayan Shaman therapies. Water sports and fishing are all available on the nearby beaches. The Tulum ruins are located 1 km from the Papaya Playa Project. Cancún International Airport can be reached by car in 1 hour and 30 minutes.

We loved the surroundings of the hotel and the food was amazing. The staff during meals was very accommodating. The pool on the roof of your villa is a great touch!

It's a beautiful hotel, very relaxing. I loved the ocean front room. The staff are AMAZING! They go the extra mile to make things happen. Andres and Heidi were fantastic and ensured requests were made.

Lovely property set in the jungle with private access to the beach. We saw lots of birds, lizards and a coati over the three days we were there! The twin queen room with the beach view was really comfortable. We didn't have a mirror in the room but when we asked they brought a full length freestanding mirror which was perfect. The included breakfast was absolutely huge and good quality. All the staff were beyond helpful and friendly. I also liked the smoothies in the coffee shop. You can rent bikes and pretty much cycle to anywhere in Tulum with the cycle paths.

Location, staff (Andres took full ownership and went above and beyond) and stunning views. It’s located at the start of the hotel zone so very easy to get a cab to Downtown and hotel strip. The Food and drinks were complimented with stunning beach views.
