Mayan monkey was awesome to stay at as a solo female traveler! Very social hostel, common areas were spacious and tidy but very welcoming and enjoyable to hang out by. Social calendar had many options everyday- cocktail class and Cenote tour were highlights! Breakfast and other food options were delicious. Would recommend to friends.

It has superb accommodation and a young and energetic staff. They have nightlife activities that include alcohol—fast response when things go wrong in the room. The yoga class was excellent. Recommended.

The stay was great, I enjoyed chilling by the pool and the breakfast was good. It was the most expensive of my stays but probably also because I traveled during new year’s. It’s close to many restaurants and a 7/11 which is nice.

It was very clean, staff is super friendly and you have a lot of privacy as the bed is a cubicle with curtains. There were activities, the yoga is really great but some activities would be displayed but canceled. You do get a huge towel to use.
