Our room was less than a minute walk from the beach, we could hear the ocean at night which was very soothing. The rooms are like teepee tents and they really added to the aesthetic, they were very spacious. The shared bathroom area was really nice and kept very clean The staff were really friendly. The hotel restaurant was located right on the beach and offered nice views of the sea, they had live music in the evening. There was a separate coffee/matcha bar too. There was yoga and other sessions available

everything was super nice!!! staff was friendly from reception to cleaning ladies, beautiful beach, in the middle of the Nationalpark you get waked up by nature sounds really nice! stylish rooms, quiet place really nice!

We had the pleasure of staying in the Waterfront Suite with a private pool at Ikal Tulum, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The serene connection with nature, seamlessly incorporated into the architecture, created an atmosphere of pure relaxation. Amazing beach! The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, always attentive and ready to assist with any request. Their warmth and professionalism truly made a difference. Sleeping in such a peaceful setting was a dream, and we woke up feeling refreshed and rejuvenated each day. We can't wait to return to this paradise—thank you to the entire Ikal Tulum team for an exceptional stay!

It’s simply amazing. The hotel is deep inside the nature, where you can experience true relaxation, enjoy a beautiful beach, or a drink in the pool. Very happy with the room. We were at the Tree House room, and loved it! Bed was super comfortable. There is a wardrobe which is good enough for 2 people. A safe is also available, but we didn’t use it. The place is very safe, we didn’t even locked the door at times. The room gave you a lot of privacy, even with the open space bathroom. We loved all of it. Position is excellent, close to the Mayan Ruins (you can go by walk), free beach in front of the hotel, and if you wanna go to Tulum it’s just a few mins ride by car/taxi. The staff at the reception was welcoming, and explained everything when we arrived. 9 out of 10 cause for the price you would expect a bit more. But in general, we loved the stay. Air Conditioning was available in the room, which was perfect. Coffee maker available and free water refilled every day. Private pool was just nice and warm. Of course expect insect and mosquitos, in the end you are in the middle of the nature. Guests from outside were allowed to stay at the hotel pool but we didn’t have any issue on finding our space/sun beds.

IKAL is a beautiful place to stay, great location in the national park on the beach. Very close walk to Tulum ruins and a taxi ride into town is only around 10 minutes. Restaurant and smoothie bar were yum! The service from Alan and Lina was amazing! Would highly recommend staying here.

Great location inside a national park. The hotel and tree house were excellent and extremely clean. Love the stay and the local restaurants. The staff was really helpful even when we arrived late in the evening (around 00:30 am) the security helped us with checking in. We will certainly return!

Everything was very beautiful and the atmosphere was spiritual, beautiful people are resting there. The sea is beautiful and the water is inviting. It's nice to walk barefoot, everything is clean.

Absolutely idyllic little spot, wonderful beach, comfortable beds, fab drinks, great food and superb service from very helpful staff. Only sad that our trip wasn't longer. Would return immediately if I could!
