The staff are absolutely Amazing and, in particular, Dorothy went out of her way to ensure I had a comfortable stay. The place is run like a right ship; clean and beautiful. Highly recommend!

great welcome, with comfy beds, invited to join the other guest for breakfast in the "family' table which make you feel like home away from home, pool area welcoming with excellent Wi-Fi, managed to do all work emails in the lovely garden, pool area after a swim to cool.

A warm welcome with friendly staff, the room was clean and comfortable, little confusing re the private bathroom, but it was so nice to have a bath. I was offered breakfast and joined the other guest in the kitchen, and the host Carol chatted about the valley. As an artist in my spare time - loved the art and collectable the filled the house -

Wittedrift Manor House, Tulbagh Splendid old Cape Dutch residence, furnished in style, located at the start of Tulbagh's historic Main Street. Offers comfortable and spacious accommodation, common use of TV lounge, porch, patio and pool in fine garden and off-street parking and an excellent breakfast served in main kitchen. Congenial atmosphere. The house is affiliated with the excellent Readers restaurant a short walk away along the the historic Main Street. Would happily return.

Nice place to stay, the furnishings were not really my style though. Special thanks to Dorothy for her kindness and help. We booked half board and to our great surprise dinner was offered at the Readers restaurant our favorite in Tulbagh. Couldn't have been better.

Charming old house with beautiful garden. A nice helpful woman welcomed me. The house is a museum with paintings, sculptures and curiosities. too bad the owner was not there for explanation. I slept wonderfully in a beautiful spacious room. the breakfast was also delicious.
