The cottage is charming, quaint, exceptionally well kept and has everything you would need for a perfect couple of nights away. The bed is comfortable, bathroom facilities clean and adequate and the kitchenette has it all. The outside patio is quaint and peaceful, with a nice piece of lawn to sit or lie on. Braai facilities, while maybe a little detached from the areas one would sit, were clean and adequately stocked with wood and braai utensils. Extra wood was easily available at R50 a crate (at the time of writing) The fire pool is small but more than adequate for amount of guests the cottage hosts, which is 2.

Clean, neat and very comfortable private cottage with kolo kolo jacuzzi and the necessary facilities to not leave during your stay once you have everything you need.

Generally we enjoyed our stay, away from the city and hearing the sounds of nature. We saw the animals on the farm every day and watched the birds from the stoep. The kolkol hot tub was great and warmed up quickly. The unit was small but still very cozy and sufficient space for 2 people.

A very beautiful spot with abundant bird life, small herds of springbok and other game. Our family group occupied four cottages spread apart but within walking distance. A great arrangement for quiet and solitude. We loved going for early morning walks along the various well-marked trails, relaxing on the veranda and plunging in the pool. The cottages are fairly rustic yet comfortable, although we struggled in the intense December heat. The units are not serviced which may not suit everybody, but it does guarantee complete privacy. A perfect retreat for unwinding and immersing oneself in the splendour of nature.

Place was very clean, views are amazing, it was exactly as advertised, had everything we needed, fireplace, braai were great, facilities were good, there were nice small hikes near by. Staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. If you looking to get a break and relax with incredible surroundings this is the place. Nice to disconnect from it all. so highly recommend it

It was tranquil and quiet and all you could hear were the birds. The property was close enough to town if you needed to shop, taste olives or wine.

This is a beautiful nature reserve surrounded by mountains. We went in spring and the flowers were all blooming wonderfully. We had a big family gathering and the celebration was great at this facility.

The stay was amazing, staff were friendly and quick to accommodate. The room was clean and the location was amazing. Took a nice hike with my partner on the reserve and it was amazing.

The view, The privacy and being secluded from the outside having the snowy mountain behind you and being one with nature. A definit place if you want to be alone and soend quality time with your loved ones.
