Amazing place. Great location close to the beach and the city center, super clean and smells amazing. The staff is extremely friendly and the breakfast is also good. Overall a perfect experience.

This is a great place to stay while in Tropea! The host picked my friend and me up from the train terminal and brought us both back (at separate times!). We were very impressed by the hospitality and kindness. The room and private bathroom are clean, spacious, and comfortable. The location was perfect for us as we spent our days at the beach and were glad that we did not have to climb up the stairs or hill afterward. We enjoyed the breakfast and coffee in the mornings. We can fully recommend Residenza Porta Romana for your trip to Tropea!

Carmelo and Christina were fantastic and friendly. Couldn’t do enough for you to make your stay the best possible. Breakfast was great. Picked us up and dropped us off at the train station. Thank you so much for that. We will definitely be back.

Location, close to beaches and easy reach to the centre of Tropea via steps. Quiet location, very comfy beds, very very clean, good breakfast variety in the attractive courtyard

Very good localization. Maybe 50 m to the stairs that lead to the old town, and the same for a beach. It's a beautiful city, with a few beaches, good food, and very cheap and tasty pizza. I had an amazing time there (4 days). Carmelo and Cristina are nice and helpful people. The hostel was quiet and I had all the amenities. I would like to go back there:)

Carmelino was prompt and very helpful on arrival, helping us with our luggage and making sure we were comfortable. The location is excellent with the most beautiful beach being walking distance.

Lovely, newly renovated room. Amazing breakfast. Super friendly hosts. An absolute hidden treasure of an accommodation in Tropea. A bit off the beaten track between old town and marina but absolute prime location, because you’re at beach level and have only 3 mins by foot to the most beautiful beach of Tropea. For your dinner, you’ll have to take the stairs up to the old town but you might as well work a bit for your dinner (you lazy f**k). Rooms are super clean and smell nice. Great water pressure in the shower, comfortable beds. The breakfast is an absolute highlight and it can easily carry you through the day. Rooms are also made every day. Great value for money. One day, I randomly found a small bottle of frizzante in my fridge. Grazie mille! I will be back!
