We are here for 7 days and was greeted by Mario explained everything, our room key card opens from the door entrance into the room which is good because you won’t be carrying a normal key around. Room was fairly priced comparing to other properties around. It was modern, new and functioning well including the airconditioning unit which was very important to us. Smart TV was good to watch Netflix and put some music. The showers were the biggest so far and spacious enough to move around. There were free umbrellas provided by the family owners to bring to the beach which is very convenient. Cleaning service is around 10-11am and whenever we come back from the beach, everything is immaculately clean. The place is near to pharmacies, convenience store, bank/ATM, souvenir shops and restaurants plus a very peaceful zone. Not far to the beach nor to the station. Romania, Carmelina and Domenico was very accomodating to our needs since I suffer from scoliosis, they provided me an extra mattress to sleep well at night. One thing we appreciated is that when it drizzled on our last day, they folded our clothes and towels that were on the drying rack (in the balcony provided also by them) to avoid getting soaked up from the rain. It’s the little thing that counts that you won’t see around. Their family thoughtfulness made a way to make our stay memorable. They also offered a complimentary espressi on our last day. A very special experience. Romy and her sister are amazing people who made us feel at home. The breakfast was fantastic with homemade products, we felt spoiled. Daily cleaning! Romy was very nice, on the last day she drove us by personal car to Tropea train station. They provided us the umbrella for the beach. She even offered to drive us to a nearby beach. The accommodation is quite close to the beach, near to the steps that take you to the beaches of Tropea, a 7, 8 minute walk. The location is about 10, 15 minutes from the center of Tropea, a pleasant walk. We stayed in a triple room, would recommend it if traveling with a child. We had a wonderful time and we want to return to Hera Tropea sometime. Calabria is a fabulous place!
