The landlord was one of the most friendly and open host I ever had :) accommodation was very comfortable, the host was very helpful and the house was really nice - well-equipped, clean and spacious.

The location is great and the room has everything you need. Bed is big and comfy. Breakfast was good and Stefano also sent tips for restaurants and reserved an umbrella at the beach for guests, which were all nice extras. Price was very reasonable.

Very good location, next to Trope centro storico. Stefano was really really kind and helpful, he reserved a table in a good restaurant for us, and he came for by car us to the train station, and he always helped us if we had some question. The room was very clean and ideal size. The breakfast at the caffeteria was very good. It was worth the price!!!!

Stefano was fantastic. He picked us up from the train station, helped with our bags, booked us sun lounges for our stay, gave us restaurant recommendations and organized for his colleague to take us back to the train station when we left. The location is perfect, right near the steps to the beach and close to the Main Street. We stayed in the deluxe junior suite with balcony and it’s on the first floor so not many steps which was nice. The beds are spacious and you have enough privacy. Plenty of hanging space in each room and daily cleaning and breakfast of eggs or pancakes and coffee at the downstairs cafe. This is what a B&B should be like! So many lack the attention to detail and personal touches that Don Ugo has.

My experience at Don Ugo was nothing short of amazing! From the moment I arrived, Stefano, the host, made me feel incredibly welcome. He is exceptionally kind, attentive, and always ready to assist with anything you might need. His local knowledge is impressive—Stefano provided fantastic recommendations for the best restaurants, must-see sights, and hidden gems around Tropea. The rooms are spotless, cozy, and beautifully maintained. And the most important very close to the beach and city-center. If you're looking for a cozy place close to the beach and right in the city center, great advice on what to do in Tropea, this B&B is perfect. The service was excellent, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tropea.

This is absolutely amazing place to stay when visiting Tropea! Owners are absolutely fantastic and provide excellent support. The breakfast was great, enough options to pick from. One of the best accommodations i have ever seen ;)

The service from Stefano was exceptional, from the beginning he helped organised taxi transfers and even reserved us sun beds at the local beach for the whole of our stay, included in the price!! It was my birthday whilst we were staying at Don Ugo, and Stefano even gifted a cake and wine to help us celebrate, truly exceptional hosting! Also the cleanliness of the room at all times was brilliant, fresh towels and bedding provided (not too early too as we wanted to sleep in).
