Location is great — up a side street 5 mins from the main street of Tromsø and the stop for the public bus to the airport. Very quiet. Property is very warm and cosy, with everything you could possibly want for a short stay. We ate out once but also cooked a great meal in the home — with a bit of creativity, had all the implements needed. The well-appointed kitchen includes cooktop, oven and microwave, and plenty of crockery and glassware. There’s a great supermarket nearby (look out for Eurospar) and a wine and bottle shop opposite that, so very easy to access provisions. There’s a washing machine — no dryer, but very easy to dry clothes quickly on the airing rack provided. Alex, the host, is extremely responsive and helpful. He was able to accommodate an early check-in which we greatly appreciated, having arrived in Tromsø very early in the morning.

The location was excellent, and you can walk to everything. The airport buses stop nearby, and there is little need for taxis. We downloaded the Svipper bus app to get further afield. Great transport network. Every type of restaurant is nearby.

Handover with clear & detailed instructions per email. Key in front of the door with Keycode. Very clean apartment in a perfect location, a couple of footsteps away from downtown Tromso. Kitchen well-equipped and perfect for cooking / breakfast.
