Breakfast was really good, it delivered an authentic taste. The staff, especially Mr.Jayan and Mrs.Anitha were of great help in coordinating our stay and also mentioned several tourist spots to us, which we found beneficial.

I came to this home in the night as a first time traveling solo in India. I was initially nervous, and also didn’t know what to expect visiting Kerala. I immediately felt at ease when Jayan and his helper were outside waiting for me and greeting me. Their home is beautiful, very clean and very comfortable. I had a little living area which I didn’t expect, it may have been as I picked a more premium room. It felt like I was staying with family the way they treated me. I just wanted to hang out with them haha. It was perfect because I really wanted somewhere to relax indoors and take a break from my travels. They were helpful with everything, and the location was close to the temple and lots of shop. They helped me lots with my itinerary and with the trains and tuktuk. Shame I couldn’t stay longer! Breakfast was lovely. Thanks very much I hope to come again.

I had booked it for my parents, they were very kind to them. They helped them to move around and made it easy . My parents were praising every bit of it. They had a super tasty breakfast, The room was calm and cool , the location of the property and their hospitality was top notch.

They treated me like family. There was a warm welcome, breakfast included which was delicious, and they were always around when I had questions. They were quick to provide me with cold bottled water and were very flexible when I needed more time to run to an ATM to pay them. On the morning of my check-out, I told them that that evening I would take a flight, and asked if there was any way I could shower there at 5pm, long after my check-out time. They said of course, and even switched some rooms around for the people booked that evening to accommodate me. I gave them 600 rupees more for there troubles, and initially they refused the money but eventually accepted. These are truly great people, know how to treat guests like family, and are incredibly accommodating.

The staf and the owner were very nice and reachable. They guided us how to commute to the property. The property is very nice in a quite locality. They have very beautiful antic pieces in their home and explained us about them. Room was small but enough for 2 people to stay. Close to auto stand. The breakfast was very light and tasty.

Nalinam Homestay was one of the best places we stayed on budget. The property is located very close to Padmanabhaswamy Temple and also less than a kilometer from the National Highway. The house is impeccable with a great collection of antiques and paintings in the common areas. Check-in was a breeze. The best part of our stay was the hospitality of the hosts, Jayan and Anitha. it was like staying at an extended family's place! The breakfast was traditional Kerala dishes like appam, puttu, and idiyappam.
