Everything was perfect ! People were helpful, the place was wonderful and quiet. Tthe family room was great, the kids were very excited to "sleep in a castel".! The breakfast was excellent with many choices, and the view on Trier was fabulous. An excellent place to recommend !

Very nice location, with beautiful view to the Trier. Very peaceful place. Car parking located next to the hotel. Great breakfast. Rooms are enough big and modern.

We only spent one night at the hotel, but would like to stay longer and will definitely be back. The hotel is situated on a hill with a fantastic view of the city. The ladies at reception were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. The room was very modern and clean, with a modern bathroom and super comfortable bed. A great forest path leads directly from the hotel to the city center.

This is located in a beautiful setting on a hill overlooking Trier. It is a beautiful building, which is beautifully presented. The bathroom is excellent and the bed is very comfortable. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast.

Friendly check-in, comfortable room & shower. Views over the town, although weather for our 2 night stay wasn’t best for using the terrace. Fantastic buffet breakfast, well presented, food and drink options refreshed. Car required to get here, and drive down to Trier town, or to get to park & ride.

I have known the Kockelsberg for sixty years, so a return visit kindled childhood memories. In those days my family and I made the long walk up from Trier through the woods and emerged by the path that can still be made out (I doubt whether it is used any more) arriving below the terrace. The position of this hotel is superb and it deserves to succeed. The view is magnificent.
